Join us at the upcoming Training Workshop: All you Need (and Want!) to Know About Feral Cat Programs, sponsored by The New England Federation of Humane Societies and in conjunction with the Maine Federation of Humane Societies Annual Training Day.
This training will feature information on a successful Trap/Neuter/Return Program in Massachusetts and will provide you with the nuts and bolts that you need to consider in order to improve an existing feral cat program, or to start one in your area.

Speakers Include:

Margaret Brender

Margaret Brender has been involved with all phases of TNR for more than a decade. Her experience includes trapping cats, taming cats, organizing adoption events and relocating cats to barns. Most recently she has managed free, high volume spay/neuter clinics for the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS) headquartered in Salisbury MA.

Stacy LeBaron

Stacy LeBaron has been involved in the animal welfare field since 1994. In 1996, she became president of the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society. In 2003, she became a board member of the Massachusetts Animal Coalition and currently serves as their treasurer. In 2008, she restarted another group, the Feline Adoption and Rescue Society and currently serves as their president. She also serves as a trustee for a local foundation.
Stacy has a BA from Vassar College in Urban Studies and has done graduate work at the New School for Social Research in New York City and at Boston University.

There will also be an afternoon panel presentation on new spay/neuter initiatives, feral cat S/N efforts and issues and progress being made.
Fee: $35.00 per person. Includes lunch and networking opportunities with the Maine Federation Training attendees!
